Student Spotlight

"Being a part of the SGA since my first semester has been nothing but beneficial, but having the opportunity to oversee this prestigious association as the president this semester has been a very extraordinary experience. Upon taking this position, what this meant to me was that I was taking a responsibility bigger than myself. Being the president of the SGA allowed me to serve the student body while enabling myself to become a better leader, as well as a better person. Another thing worth mentioning is that I did not do all this on my own. I am forever grateful for the immense help I got from my family, friends, and faculty members. My current achievements serve as a testament to the good help that I’ve been fortunate enough to receive as a student. Western has spearheaded my life in a positive direction, from the good memories created each semester, to the opportunities made available at every corner, I am happy for the progress I’ve made throughout my time as a member of this prestigious institution."
